Do It For Dale
Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is one of the most common, life-threatening genetic diseases affecting thousands in America and millions worldwide. There is no treatment or cure. My husband, Dale, has PKD and our 3 children have a 50% chance of being afflicted with this disease.
We are joining the PKD Community to help bring attention to PKD and how, with your support, we can raise money and awareness as we work to combat the disease.
The Walk for PKD is the PKD Foundation's largest annual fundraising event. Funds raised from Walks across the country make up one third of our annual budget which brings treatment to many who are in need. The more we raise the sooner we can find an end to PKD!
By joining The Walk for PKD as a participant, as a volunteer or by giving a charitable donation, you are walking boldly with us toward a future where no one suffers the full effects of PKD. Our goal is to eradicate the disease from the genetic gene pool. In the meantime, we need help to continue to treat those afflicted while they wait for a cure.
Won’t you please join our team and help us meet our goal to raise money and awareness? Help by walking and/or donating to the PKD Foundation. Join our team and let’s Do It For Dale!
