North Texas Walk for PKD

Pissed & Passed Stones of Tucson, TEXAS EDITION

Welcome to the Team Page of PPST - Pissed & Passed Stones of Tucson, TEXAS EDITION. Team Captain is Jody Steiner, who was diagnosed with PKD in February 2015, but has suffered from kidney stones since 1998..... hence the team name, HA!

Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is one of the most common, life-threatening genetic diseases affecting thousands in America and millions worldwide. There is no treatment or cure. You can help bring a treatment within reach as 100% of the Walk's proceeds go to research.

The Walk for PKD is the PKD Foundation's largest annual fundraising event. Funds raised from Walks across the country make up one third of our annual budget. The more money our walkers raise, the more we can do in the fight to end PKD! You can help by joining the Walk as a participant, volunteer or donor.

The North TX PKD Walk will be held in Southlake on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017. I will be returning to Texas for the weekend and could not pass up the opportunity to attend two walks back-to-back.  :)  I would love for you to join me! If you are unable to make the walk, a monetary donation is still greatly appreciated!

Together, we can walk boldly toward a future where no one suffers the full effects of PKD.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our team's site! ~ Jody
